At recent meetings of the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium’s members, it was indicated that opportunities for professional development, facilitated by the Consortium, would be a welcome addition to our 2017 events calendar. With this in mind, we have designed the below survey to capture information on what kind of professional development creative individuals in and around our local area would like to undertake in 2017.
On the weekend of the 10th October, I (Roberta) had the wonderful opportunity to represent our fine city of Portsmouth (and beyond in splendid Hampshire) at the Etsy European Captains Summit in Amsterdam and meet with other Etsy team captains from all over Europe to share our successes, experiences and challenges.
This Thursday 09 July will see the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium introduce its Twitter hour, an opportunity to showcase a selection of its members’ work with the wider art, craft, design, making and vintage community on social media, as well as offering a chance to chat, seek advice and connect with those in and around the creative and vintage community in Portsmouth and Southsea.
