UPDATE, 16 July 2015: Applications for the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium’s Etsy Made Local 2015 market closed at 23:59 on 15 July 2015.
This coming December 2015 will see the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium’s Etsy team participate in Etsy Made Local, a series of Etsy-supported Christmas markets up and down the country. We’ll offer a range of handmade items showcasing the creativity, originality and skill of our members, as well a selection of vintage items that showcases their keen curatorial eye. It’ll be a perfect opportunity to find an amazing present for a friend or family member, as well as proudly showing support for local, independent businesses. All this in the contemporary setting of aspex gallery in Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth, who have proudly agreed to host the event.
Etsy Made Local is a selective event, restricted to active Etsy sellers who are members of an organising team. This means that in order to sell at Etsy Made Local, you will need to have joined Etsy and opened a shop, and joined the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium.
Actively-selling Consortium members wishing to participate in Etsy Made Local are required to complete an application form. This form will be reviewed by a panel of those involved in the creative industries in Portsmouth and Southsea as well as the co-founders of the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium. This can be found at the bottom of this page, along with more information for applicants.
Applications are open from 15 June to 15 July 2015. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their applications from 01 August 2015.
There is no fee to apply to sell at the Portsmouth and Southsea Consortium’s Etsy Made Local Market – nor is there any fee to participate.
